A Day Jungle Tracking at Janda Baik

A Day Out to a Green Jungle Tracking while practicing your Hanyu with A Special “Village-style” Lunch

The Location
Located some 27km from Gombak Toll Gate in Kuala Lumpur, about 45 minutes drive away, TanaRimba Janda Baik has been popular with its vast, green, hilly rain-forest north-east of Kuala Lumpur. A green development of 2953ha (7,299 acres) at the altitude between 450m and 1,370m above sea level, Tanarimba offers cool, crisp mountain air with the temperature lows of 18 degree Celsius. It is a refreshing getaway to relax, exercise and make friends.

This is a special arrangement for GHCC students to enjoy a private resorts development not open to the public at Tanarimba and enjoy the breeze. Lunch is prepared by a famous restaurant at Bukit Tinggi Village which serve “village-styled” cuisine with organic vegetables and fruits. It is included in the package and will be served at 11.00am. A debrief session will be conducted between 12noon and 1pm.


Instruction to participants
1. This is a morning activities. After a 2.5 hour jungle walk which will revitalize and enhance your fortitude, you will rest at the Club House of Tanarimba, a private green development not open to the public, and enjoy the breeze. Lunch is included in the package and will be served at 11.00 am. A debrief session will be conducted between 12noon and 1pm.
2. Participants must dress for jungle walk; suggested attire includes long sleeve shirts, a pair of durable socks and shoes. Anyone with allergies must be prepared.
3. Participants must bring towel and enough drinking water to last them for the day. No drink will be served during lunch.
4. Participants must not to leave any waste or garbage behind.
5. The primary medium of instruction is Mandarin. Participants are encouraged to converse in mandarin during activities.
